Yoga Nidra is a guided relaxation practice that puts you in a state between being awake and asleep. It’s often called “yogic sleep.” During Yoga Nidra, your body becomes very relaxed, but your mind stays gently aware.
While relaxing on a chair with pillow and blanket, someone will guide you through steps like relaxing different parts of the body, noticing your breathing, and imagining calming scenes. Even though it feels like you’re drifting off to sleep, you are still conscious. This deep relaxation can help reduce stress, improve sleep, and calm the mind.
